Thalapathy Vijay fans were eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi that was to have hit the screens on April 9th. Unfortunately, the novel coronavirus pandemic has pushed the release date indefinitely. Meanwhile, director A.R. Murugadoss who is said to be the helmer of ‘Thalapathy 65’ is reportedly fine-tuning his script in self-isolation communicating with his writing team through video conferencing and other means.
The same sources have revealed that Sun Pictures the producers of ‘Thalapathy 65’ has brought on board two leading ladies to romance Vijay in the upcoming project. It is said that one of the heroines is Kajal Aggarwal who has already worked with Vijay in two blockbuster hits ‘Jilla’ and ‘Thuppakki’ the latter also directed by ARM.
The other leading lady is said to be Pooja Hegde and the informants are swearing that she has given her nod and will soon make it official by signing the dotted lines. Earlier it was reported that Pooja who made her acting debut in Tamil opposite Jiiva in ‘Mugamoodi’ is likely to maker her Kollywood comeback in Suriya’s ‘Aruvaa’.
Pooja had taken to Twitter to react to the news “Hello hello. Let’s not jump to conclusions of me doing Tamil films right now. As of now I haven’t signed anything and I have a couple of narrations lined up, but I am definitely looking forward to doing a Tamil film this year…if all goes well…fingers crossed Thank you”. Lets wait for the official confirmation from Sun and ARM as soon as the corona cloud blows away.
